Cloud Service Information Security Policy

Preferred Computational Chemistry, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) establishes the Cloud Service Information Security Policy to maintain the information security of its cloud services and ensure their provision and use. This policy serves as a subordinate policy under the separately defined “Information Security Policy.”

Information Security Requirements Applied to Cloud Service Design and Implementation

We apply the information security requirements from our customers and the policies established by our company to design and implement cloud services.

Risks of Cloud Services

We implement appropriate management measures against risks related to cloud services identified through risk assessments.

Isolation of Cloud Computing Environments

Utilizing proven virtualization technologies, we logically isolate cloud computing environments for each customer to ensure security.

Access to and Protection of Customer Data by Company Employees

Except when necessary to fulfill the service provisions described in our terms of use, we do not access customer information assets without the customer’s prior permission.

Notification of Changes to Customers

We provide information regarding specification changes and other matters related to the cloud services we offer through postings on the cloud service interface or similar means.

Account Management

Customers are responsible for creating and managing their accounts based on the terms of use established by our company.

Information Sharing

In cases where violations related to the use of our cloud services are detected or incidents that compromise information security are identified, we share information to notify about the violations, conduct investigations, and provide forensic support.
