Overview of the WebinarSimulators and Deep Learning

Deep learning has dramatically increased the speed of simulators and expanded their scope of application, while at the same time, on the other hand, it has become possible to train and verify deep learning models by generating data using simulators. In this presentation, I will discuss the relationship between simulators and deep learning, introduce some success stories, and discuss future prospects.

Overview of the WebinarSearching for new materials using Neural Network Potential and introducing "Matlantis"

In recent years, the importance of quantum chemical calculations has increased in the design of catalysts, battery materials, semiconductor materials, and so on. Neural Network Potential (NNP) is a technology that can speed up quantum chemical calculations, but it has only been used in specific fields so far. In order to enable materials exploration using NNP in various fields, Preferred Networks and ENEOS have developed NNP that supports 55 elements and are deploying "Matlantis" as a SaaS that uses it. In this presentation, we will introduce the Matlantis technology and introduce examples of material design using Matlantis.
