PFCC Webinar Announcement: Professor Michihisa Furuyama from Shinshu University will be speaking
The other day, Professor Michihisa Furuyama (Shinshu University) released a "preprint of a paper using Matlantis."
We have received many comments regarding this paper saying, "I would like to know more details" and "I would like to ask questions and discuss the content."
Therefore, we decided to hold a webinar with Professor Furuyama Michihisa as the speaker.
This webinar will also be enjoyable for non-Matlantis users (those who are considering using Matlantis or those who would like to try it in the future).

Date and Time | December 15, 2022 13:00-15:00 |
Speakers | Professor Michihisa Furuyama, Shinshu University |
Venue | online |
Application | https://pfcc.connpass.com/event/263752/ |
Lecture name | Matlantis Realizes Heterogeneous Theoretical Catalysis 3.0: Elucidation and prospects of strong metal-support interactions in Ru/La 0.5 Ce 0.5 O 1.75-x |
Overview of the Webinar | Until now, attempts to theoretically design heterogeneous catalysts have been considered far from reality, mainly due to the inability to incorporate actual catalyst structures into a computer. In this webinar, we will introduce a case where the origin of activity on a complex supported metal catalyst was elucidated by using Matlantis to combine cyber and physical aspects, and we will also introduce the outlook for innovation in theoretical catalysis science. |
