PFCC will participate in the 24th Annual Advanced Automotive Battery Conference (AABC) to be held in Las Vegas, USA. For details, please see below.

Conference Information

Date: December 9 – 12, 2024

Venue: Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, Las Vegas, NV

Presentation Information

Title: High-Performance Atomistic Simulation Platform with a Universal Neural Network Model

overview:
The state-of-the-art machine learning potential has been developed and applied to a number of battery-related applications. The model's versatility is through three key applications: It reveals the instability of layered LiMnO 2 nanostructures at elevated temperatures, attributed to MnO 6 to MnO 4 transitions. In sodium all-solid-state batteries, Matlantis identifies PS 3 species as crucial for interface stabilization between the Na electrode and solid electrolyte. Furthermore, it investigates the impact of nickel content on electrolyte adsorption on LiNi x Mn y Co z O 2 cathode surfaces. These studies showcase Matlantis's capability to provide atomic-level insights into complex materials systems, advancing energy storage research.

Presenter

Takashi Watanabe
